There are two types of exams performed by an Optometrist, Routine Exam and Medical Exam.  A Routine Exam includes diagnosis and treatment of non-medical complaints, such as nearsightedness, astigmatism and farsightedness.  The refraction (the measuring of the focusing of your eyes), is performed during the Routine Exam.  A Medical Exam includes the treatment of eye diseases; such as Glaucoma, Diabetes, conjunctivitis, or foreign body removal.  In some cases the refraction is also necessary during a Medical Exam.  

When you check in at All Care Eye Clinic, it is important to provide ALL of your Insurance Plans.  At that time we will take the time to explain any co-pays, co-insurance or deductibles.  Please ask questions during this time, this can be confusing, and our employees are trained to help you understand your benefits.  During the exam the doctor will discuss with you whether the exam is deemed Routine or Medical.  Depending on the diagnosis and treatment, our billing department will then bill the appropriate insurance for you. 

Can't find your insurance? We've got you covered. If your insurance is not listed, we are always happy to discuss payment options and look into joining the panel of your Insurance for the future visits.  Our job is to make your visit seamless!  All Care Eye Clinic has been billing insurance in-house for over 12 years.  We are proud to be able to take care of this complicated process for you.  Our billing team will appeal and make sure that the benefits you pay for are utilized in the manner YOU wish.
